The 23rd edtion of Cartoon Forum, is hosted in Toulouse, France (11-14 September), where more than 700 producers, broadcasters and investors from 35 countries will gather to negotiate financing and new projects.
Invited studios include the Oscar-nominated Studio AKA pitch Chop Chop (UK), the French studio Les Armateurs (co-responsible for Chomet's The Illuusionist) present Pico Bogue.
The Oscar-nominated ('A Cat in Paris') Folimage studio will also pitch Miru Miru.

Taking cue from haikus - short, witty Japanese poems about daily life and nature - this series tells of the adventures of Miru, a little sea otter who, in an effort to understand his new environment, interprets it in his own very personal way making up haikus of his own.
With the main character who shifts easily from exuberance to poetic contemplation, the aim is to create a positive and endearing little hero with whom young viewers can identify
