| Moon Man premieres at the Irish Film Institute |

Moon Man is a multi-European production adapted from the worldwide best-seller by Tomi Ungerer, which has been translated into 12 languages since its publication.
The story centers on the adventure of a man sitting on the moon, who one night grabs a speeding comet, and rides to earth. He will marvel at the many wonders the earth has to offer, and realize how much children love and need him.
The Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon (Oscar-nominated for The Secret of Kells) co-operates with Schesch Films and Le Pacte Film to produce a 2D film version. Stephan Schesch, who has already filmed another Ungerer's novel, 'The Three Robbers', directs the film.
Moon Man will premiere on July 7th, 18:30, in the IFI – Irish Film Institute, Dublin.
