This stereoscopic animated film is based on the fake autobiography of Graham Chapman, member of the Monty Python, who died in 1989.
Graham Chapman's voice appears in the film. The remaining Monty Python members (John Cleese, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam) provide their voices to the different characters, but without incarnating their real selves.
A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman will incorporate 17 different styles of animation (from puppets to stereoscopic) from 15 different animation studios (such as Beakus, AforAnimation and others)
Ben Timlett, Bill Jones and Jeff Simpson are credited as directors.
The official film premiere has now been announced to take place at the Toronto International Film Festival (September, 6-16).
Screening dates: Saturday 8 (21:45) & Monday 10 September (22:00). Comments (0)
