Wolf Dog Tales: the one that wins is the one you feed

wolf-dog-talesAmerica explores its own past. Wolf Dog Tales is a new short, which uses sand animation technique to talk about things universal.

Wolf Dog Tales takes us to the world of the Wolf Dog who answers some of life's greatest questions through a series of Native American tales of animal wisdom.

Its animation technique, "faux sand animation painting" is inspired by Navajo sand paintings - a religious art form of the first inhabitants of New Mexico.

The director Bernandine Santistevan reflects personal experiences from her own rural upbringing in New Mexico.

Igor, an Emmy-award winning arist, is responsible for the hybrid sand animation and stop-motion technique.
