Fresh Guacamole by PES: The shortest film ever nominated for an Oscar
BBC reports that the 100'' long film by PES, Frech Guacamole is the shortest film ever (including live-action films) to be nominated for an Academy Award. PES inventively transforms familiar objects into Fresh Guacamole, in this stop-motion clay film.
The film is a follow-up to Western Spaghetti.
His original intent was to turn upside down the motto "Don't play with your food".
Even though Fresh Guacamole is considered a long short for the coveted award (John Kahrs' Paperman and Tim Reckart's Head Over Heels are clear favorites in the field), it adds a bit of spice in our animated food.
