#Slovenian animator Špela Čadež (Boles, Nighthawk) and her Finta team made the teaser for the Netflix prison drama Orange is the New Black.

The 5th season premieres 9 June.

The trailer makes (understandably) puppets doing more adult things than other series would have them doing -in synchrony.

#The upcoming feature film The Breadwinner by Nora Twomey and Cartoon Saloon initiates a programme for educators.

The 2D film, based on Deborah Ellis' bestseller, tells the story of Parvana, a 12-year-old girl growing up under the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2001.

The four key elements of the program include:

Studying The Breadwinner novel;
Having students engage with our interactive online study guide that incorporates lessons relevant to the novel, social studies (Afghanistan, culture, human rights) and art (an introduction to animation curated by Academy Award® nominated studio Cartoon Saloon)
Arranging a field trip or screening to see the animated feature film in your community
Creating an optional student-lead action campaign to advance education for boys and girls in developing countries and here at home
