Chilemonos International Animation Festival 2026
Event Description:
CHILEMONOS Festival is organized by CHILEMONOS Foundation, a non-profit organization that promote, encourage and develop the Chilean and Latin American animation to the world. This is an Oscar-qualifying film festival for animation shorts.
2026 Call for Entries
The call for entries is open to Works in all types of animation techniques that have been completed since March 1, 2025.
The categories in competition during this version of the Festival are 6 (six) and
correspond to the following:
1. International Animated Short Film Competition.
2. Latin American Animated Short Film Competition (including Chile).
3. International School Short Film Competition.
4. Latin American School Short Film Competition (including Chile).
5. Latin American Animated Series Competition (including Chile).
6. Latin American Experimental Animated Short Film Competition (including Chile).
