Festival Description:
CANIMAF, the African Animation Film Festival of Yaoundé, aims to provide a platform for expression and distribution for African filmmakers and producers, as well as those from other regions. Animation is defined
as "the creation of animated images using various techniques that give the illusion of movement, excluding live-action filming.
2024 Call for entries
The submission is open to all animated films completed between 2020 and 2024, regardless of format, origin, or technique.

The prizes awarded at the CANIMAF festival are as follows:
- Le Cauris d’Or: Award for the Best African Animated Film.
- Le Cauris de Verre: Award for the Best International Animated Film.
- Le Cauris d’Ébène: Award for the Best Animation Project Teaser.
- Best Animation Project Pitch Award.
