University Animation Festival (FUA!) 2026

Festival Description: FUA! is much more than a short film screening event. It welcomes international guests who are leaders in the industry and who take part in talks, masterclasses, and panel discussions to share their experiences, processes, and current perspectives on the sector. In addition, the program includes specialized workshops and networking spaces.

FUA! is born with a clear mission: to discover and promote emerging talent, generate collaborative networks, and bring new generations of animators closer to real opportunities for circulation, learning, and professional connection.

Call for Entries 2026

Eligibility 

• Animated short films created within an academic context may be submitted. 
• Only works produced from January 2023 onward
• Works with a maximum running time of 15 minutes will be accepted
• Short films created in 2D, 3D, stop motion, mixed media, rotoscopy, experimental animation, and any other animated process are accepted.
