Womanimation! Film Festival 2024

Festival Description:

As the name implies, it’s a festival showcasing acclaimed animated film stories created by women from around the world. From satire to drama, from the everyday to the surreal – in styles from traditional 2-d to stop-motion to computer animation – the festival features something for every taste

2024 Call for Entries 

Women Animators can submit any new animated short story-driven projects (2022-2024 films) for consideration for Womanimation! 2024 being held on 29th June, 2024. Please do not resubmit films that you have already submitted to us in the past. 

Recommendations

None of the following criteria disqualify a film but may count against films in consideration for acceptance:

Films shorter than 2:00 or longer than 20:00
Films from 2022
Films available publicly online
Films that have played extensively in the US (especially northeastern US)
Subtitle problems (too small, poor contrast, excessive grammar/spelling errors)

• Entry Form. 
• Send the film via Wetransfer or your own FTP service (DropBox, Google Drive, etc).
• Regulations 
• There is no entrance fee
• Deadline: 26  May 2024 (both film and form submission)
