173 short films (out of 1700 submitted) will features in the 2025 programme of Anima Festival Brussels (28 February to 9 March 2025). 85 of them will screen in the International competition -with 25 new Belgian films.

We spot here the Annecy Cristal winner 'Percebes' (Alexandra Ramires, Laura Gonçalves), the Oscar-winner Torrill Kove with her 'Maybe Elephants'. Also, names like Koji Yamamura (Extremely Short), the Finnish Victorian-minded 'Flower Show' by Elli Vuorinen and the stop-motion Hebrew comedy 'Joko' by Isabela Plucincka.
