The 30th, jubilee edition of Etiuda & Anima Festival (Krakow, 21-26 November 2023), has landed its selected animation festival for the 2023 edition. The hybrid festival includes both animation shorts and student live-action films.

In the animation lineup, we find the awarded Atsushi Wada film, 'Bird in the Peninsula'. The Croatian/Estonian film 'Eeva' by Morten Tšinakov and Lucija Mrzljak, a black comedy of a funeral, features on the list, as well as the Oscar-nominated 'Ice Merchants' by the Portuguese João Gonzalez.

Polish films include Disc+dog by Tomek Ducki, 'Misaligned' by Marta Magnuska, and the new, 26-minute film 'Zima' by Tomek Popakul and Kasumi Ozeki.
