2026 Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo Call for Entries

ANIMATION NEXT is an export-oriented international showcase designed to promote the value of local animated series with strong international circulation, distribution, and partnership potential. The initiative aims to facilitate networking between Italian producers and international broadcasters, streamers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders attending MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo.

ELIGIBILITY:

a. Eligible projects are animated series for any target audience produced or co-produced by an Italian production company.

b. Projects must be in advanced development, production, post-production, or completed but not yet broadcast, streamed, or released.

c. Projects must be substantially financed and close to production, delivery, or launch.

d. Projects must contain animated scenes representing at least 70% of the overall running time.

e. Projects previously presented at other market events during the same calendar year may be considered, although priority may be given to projects that have not yet been showcased internationally.
