Event Description:

Toon Dook International Animation Festival is a dynamic new event in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, dedicated to showcasing the richness and diversity of contemporary animation.

2026 Toon Dook International Animation Festival Call for Entries:

 

Eligibility
– Open to all animated films under 30 minutes
– All animation techniques are accepted (2D, 3D, stop motion, mixed media, etc.) 
– AI-generated films are accepted only in the Experimental AI Animated Films category

The festival accepts submissions in four competition categories:
– International Short Animated Films
– Kyrgyz Student Animated Films
– Central Asian Animated Films
– Experimental AI Animated Films

The two-day festival also features:
– Masterclasses by international guests
– Art alley and live illustration
– Ceramic workshops and real-time art creation
– Networking zones
– Music surprise and open-air atmosphere
