About the Training Programme
Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event invites filmmakers, storytellers, animators, game creators, and visual artists to apply for Unreal Engine Storytelling and Cinematic Creation, a new international training programme designed to explore the creative possibilities of Unreal Engine across film, animation, virtual production, and immersive media.
Through hands-on workshops, expert mentorship, and collaborative learning, participants will gain practical experience with Unreal Engine’s cinematic tools while developing new approaches to visual storytelling. The programme, carried out as intensive 10-week online residency, is aimed at creative professionals who are eager to experiment with emerging technologies and expand their storytelling toolkit beyond traditional formats. The programme is carried out by Dejan Ilić, an art director, multimedia artist, and Unreal Engine Authorized Instructor.
Applicants should have experience in filmmaking, animation, visual arts, game development, or related creative fields, as well as a strong interest in narrative creation and real-time workflows. The working language of the programme is English.

Mentor Dejan Ilić: Dejan Ilić is an art director, multimedia artist, and Unreal Engine Authorized Instructor from Serbia with more than 20 years of experience in visual communication and applied arts. He currently works as an Art Director for Sony Interactive Entertainment, while developing projects across digital media, performance, and immersive technologies. His international collaborations and exhibitions span Serbia, Norway, Sweden, Japan, Thailand, Portugal, and the United States, with presentations in Tokyo, Hiroshima, New York, Los Angeles, and Bangkok. Alongside his professional practice, he has worked as an educator and co-founded initiatives focused on experimental digital art and Serbian-Japanese cultural exchange.
