Call for Papers
For this call for papers we suggest the following thematic framework: COMISSIONED ANIMATION, AND ANIMATION FOR THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION.
Articles on advertising and applied animation, credit titles, animation and propaganda (historical and current), animating artists who have produced advertising, specific analysis of animations intended for popularizing science, animation for didactics, etc. can be submitted.
However, as usual, original and unpublished works may be presented without thematic restriction or focus, as long as they are related to animation:
- Theoretical, aesthetic or analytical reflections.
- Chronicles and historical research.
- Analysis from the practice of the medium.
- Teaching experiences.
- Interdisciplinary approaches (literature, cinema, arts, comics, video games, etc.).
The articles received will first pass a review by the Editorial Committee, and later the evaluation by blind peers, whose report will determine the acceptance for publication. Articles can be accepted in languages other than Spanish, as long as the author or authors can provide a translated version for publication. The recommended length for these articles is between 4,000 and 6,000 words (excluding bibliography or notes). It is important to write the article adhering to the rules established in our style manual.
