DOK Short n' Sweet
DOK Short n’ Sweet is a short film pitch focusing on the financing and distribution of short documentary, animated documentary, and animated films. Accredited film professionals are invited to pitch their short film project in front of an international panel of buyers and distributors and an engaged audience of producers and peers.
Projects pitched at Short n’ Sweet have been nominated for prestigious awards such as the European Film Award and premiered at A-List festivals including Festival de Cannes, Berlin International Film Festival, Locarno, and DOK Leipzig.

The pitch is taking place onsite in Leipzig and seven selected filmmakers will present their project in front of an audience of film professionals and peers. . Each presentation lasts 7 minutes: 3 minutes to pitch the idea and 4 minutes to answer questions by the panellists. Additionally, the project teams meet the panellists in short individual meetings for more concrete feedback and networking. In a special workshop prior to the festival, participants are helped to prepare their pitch and get connected with other Short n’ Sweet peers.

Each presentation lasts 7 minutes: 3 minutes to pitch the idea and 4 minutes to answer questions of the panellists. There is no participation fee involved in pitching your selected project. But each project team member needs to purchase a festival accreditation, as DOK Short n’ Sweet is part of the online DOK Industry Programme
. The pitch will take place live on 19 October within the frames of DOK Industry. The event will be on-site in Leipzig.
