M:Brane Pitching Forum 2023

Event Description

• M:brane is a unique meeting place with focus solely on projects aimed at a young audience, age 3-18 years. Cinema, tv, documentaries, interactive, VR, immersive storytelling.
• M:brane is a strictly B2B platform for producers with high visions, financiers, buyers, distributors and sales agents plus a number of professional observers, where they get an exclusive introduction to creative and highly innovative projects at an early stage.
• Around 220 professionals from over 20 countries meets during three intensive days in a warm and friendly atmosphere in Malmö.

2022 Call for entries

M:brane will take place from 15 to 17 March 2022 in Malmö, Sweden. Through the years, the Pitching Events have led to the improvement of the quality of the projects and of storytelling for kids. The personal interaction is crucial to us – it’s about chemistry. As of 2022 it will possible to attend m:brane either online or onsight for our hybrid pitch forum, to create a more inclusive platform for participants.

M:brane is exclusively aimed at:

• The production of films, TV/web-series, games, apps and cross + transmedia for children and youth up to the age of 18.
• Feature films or series and multiplatform
• Productions aimed at cinema and/or multiplatform
• Special Focus on live action
• All genres accepted
• Co-productions from Europe
• Professional production companies

Basic information:

• When applying, the project must have finalized at least 10% of the financing. This financing shall be presented with at least a signed 'Letter of  Intent' from a financier with the granted sums defined.
• The budget must be in currency of EURO and all documentation must be presented in English.
• A maximum and all documentation must be presented in of two projects per company can be entered.
• Producers can apply without a director attached.   

 The deadline is December 2, 2021.
