The Dauphin Dolphin by Gobelins, France
A very handsome prince is cruel to dolphins, and he is transformed into a sea and cloud monster for his deeds. Only a kiss will save him from his suffering.
With a colored and detailed tapestry that brings to mind The Secret of Kells, The dauphin dolphin (Le dauphin dolphin) proposes a nice modern variation on the worn-out theme of the princess and the too-important kiss.
Le dauphin dauphin was directed by first-year Gobelins students Marlène Beaube, Maxime Delalande, Clément Doranlo, Nadya Mira and Thibaud Gayral de Luca during their summer internship at Ankama Paris.
