Revolting Rhymes, Will Anderson, Gumballl Win British Animation Awards

Held every two years, the British Animation Awards  (director: Jayne Pilling) reward the very best new and established British animators across a variety of categories including short films, animated graphics for film and television, children’s series, music videos and commercials.

The 2018 winners include the Oscar-nominated adaptation of Roald Dahl Revolting Rhymes (dir. Jackob Schuh and Jan Lachauer), which won in the "Best Long Form" category (trailer).

Revolting Rhymes Part I

WIll Anderson with I have heart was the recipient of the 'Best Short FIlm', while the independent Shakespearean-based short Neck and Neck (dir. Shaun Clark) won the Best Use of Sound award (recipients: David Pringle, Alex Harwood).

The Royal College of Art short The Day After the Party -- Diyala Muir won the Best Student Short Award.

The Amazing World of Gumball series won 4 awards,  and 2 awards were given to Blue Zoo animation studio.
