The 5th CRAFT International Animation Festival (28 October-01 November 2025) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, proudly presents its official selection, picked from 386 entries from 65 countries. 41 films will vie for prizes in three competitions: 25 in the International Competition of Stop-motion and Traditional Techniques in Animation (no or only partly digital 2D/3D), seven for No Dialogues Shorts Animated Movies for Kids – Stop-motion and Traditional Techniques in Animation, and nine in the Competition of All Techniques in Animation dedicated exclusively to animated films from Southeast Asian countries.

Nine films will play as part of the Digital Panorama strand, a non-competitive program open to the whole world (only digital 2D/3D). A brand new set of sections this year is Panorama Animasi Indonesia, made up of three categories (independent artists, student films, and films for kids) that will present what is currently happening in Indonesian animation.
