Out of 51 feature films submitted from 24 countries, 9 feature animation films were selected for the 20th celebratory Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF). The winners of both 2018 Annecy Festival (Funan by Denis Do)  and Animafest Zagreb winner, This Magnificent Cake! (Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roels) are here included.

Two South Korean films have their world premiere at the festival: Umehara Takahiro's The Moon In the Hidden Woods, and Motel Rose by Yeo Eun-a.
