The poster for the 28th Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF2026) has been unveiled. by Oscar-nominated director Maïlys Vallade, co-director of the BIAF2025 Grand Prize-winning film 'Little Amélie or the Character of Rain'.

Maïlys Vallade said, "It's a bit of Amélie and Nishio san and a bit of my twin daughters, because they were my muses for our movie Little Amélie."

Brenda Chapman, President of the BIAF2025 Jury, praised the film for its poetic storytelling and emotional resonance, saying, “It is a beautiful film. The story and color are wonderful.”

'Little Amélie or the Character of Rain' has received international recognition, including the Audience Award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and was nominated for the 98th Academy Awards.
