Feral, Head Over Heels , Selkirk win at Be there! 2013
The Annecy-selected Feral by Daniel Sousa, the story of wild boy found in the woods by a solitary hunter and brought back to civilization won the Grand Prize at the 3rd Be there! Corfu Animation Festival (Greece).
Julia Gromskaya's lyrical Flood won the Jury Prize, and best music for animation was reserved for the French Valérie PEREZ and her music in the Gérard Ollivier film, An ogre.
The best student film prize was split between the Sundance-selected Bite of the tail by Song E Kim and the Oscar-nominated Head over heel (Tim Reckart, UK)
Special mention was reserved for Peter Budinsky's story of twin boxers in tWINS (Slovakia, 2011).
The Uruguyan Selkirk, the real Robinson Crusoe by Walter Tournier [review] won the best feature film in competition, and the audience award for best feature film.
Jury members included the French/Dutch Monique Renault, and the Argentinians Ines Sedan (The Man who Slept) and Patricio Plaza (co-creator, El empleo).
he audience award was given to the multi-directed animated documentary Father by Ivan Bogdanov (produced by Bonobo studio).
