Festival Description: ANIMAC International Animation Film Festival of Catalonia is a not-for-profit cultural event organized by Lleida City Council and supported by the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia and other public and private bodies. Animac is a non-competitive film festival aimed at artists who use animation as a tool for personal expression.

2027 ANIMAC International Animation Film Festival of Catalonia Call for Entries

Eligibility:

- Producers, distributors, or filmmakers—both national and international—may submit works.
- Each participant may submit an unlimited number of films, provided they meet the established requirements.
- There are no restrictions regarding duration or year of production.
- Selected works must be available in HD QuickTime or MP4, Blu-ray, or DCP screening formats. Copies must not be encrypted.

- Audience Award for Best Short Film (Official Section)
- Petit Animac Audience Award
- Futur Talent Audience Award

In addition, the best films submitted by Catalan animation schools will be eligible for the Animac Talent.cat Award, granted by an external jury made up of industry professionals.
