Festival Description: “Almaty Animation Festival" is an international platform for independent and studio animation, featuring competition screenings, special and non-competition programs, as well as an educational track with masterclasses, lectures, and discussions. The festival introduces audiences to current global industry trends and works by filmmakers from Kazakhstan and Central Asia, while offering professionals a chance to learn from practitioners and connect with potential partners for new projects.

Almaty Animation Festival Call for Entries 

Only audiovisual works created using animation techniques are accepted for participation in the contest. If multiple techniques are used, animation must play a dominant role or be a key element in the perception of the work. Works created before 2024 are not eligible for participation
