Festival Description:

BLON is an innovative festival of unique format inviting to experience outstanding animated films, games, AR and VR from around the globe. BLON is a boutique space where young talents interact with industry sharks, the festival aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, experience and inspiration among animation and games professionals. Besides programs of most creative, fun, and controversial animated films and games for (young) adults, BLON presents beautiful, artistic content for young audiences. BLON invites you to Klaipeda for inspiration, business, and fun!

2022 Call for entries

BLON 2022 Baltic Sea-Nordic short animated film competition programme. 

• Made an exciting animated short that is:

  → Originating from (director and/or producer and/or writer) Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Germany and Poland
  → 1-20 min in length
  → Completed/released in 2021, 2022

This year BLON Festival launches a monetary prize of 1000 eur for the winner of the International Competition Programme of the Best Animated Short Film.
