Of the 698 applicants (from almost 100 countries) for the Rising of Lusitania - Animadoc Film festival's 8th edition, 51 animation documentaries from 30 countries have been selected.

The festival offers both a competitive section (22 animation films), a student section (15 animation shorts), and Mock(anima) documentary section (6 animation shorts). Films like the stop-motion animation feminist story of 'Virgin Fandango' (dir. Marcy Page) and an animated treatise on the Epstein files named 'H.R. 4405' by the Lithuanian Tylus Kinas are included in the selection.
