The 6th edition ('cruise) of the Rising of Lusitania Animadoc FF (Lodz, 01,08,15,22.09.2024) awarded its animation documentary films out of 40 animation participants (from 22 countries).

Margherita Guisti's 'The Meatseller' won the Grand Prix (professional competition), whereas 'Is this Now the Time I Should Let You Go?' (Taiwan/Finland 2023) by Yi-Chin Tsai (Aalto University) won the student prize.

The Student Jury unanimously recognized the personal and war recollections 'I Died in Irpin' by Anastasiia Falileieva (Czech Republic/Ukraine 2024) as the best professional animated documentary; 'My Mom' (Poland 2024) by Agnieszka Popińska from the Łódź Film School was correspondingly recognized as the best student animated documentary from the same jury.

Both Jury panels awarded the 'Mermaid Cow Saga'  by Sashko Danylenko, ironically awarding the true story of the swimming cow with the Make-Believe Award.
