The 5th edition of  ReAnimania festival in Yerevan, Armenia. Discover the programme highlights.

The 5th edition of ReAnimania festival takes place from 26 October - 1 November 2013. Films will compete in the following categories: 7 feature films are included in the festival competition.

These include the French westerner tribute My mommy is in America and she met Buffalo Bill (Label Anim & Melusine Productions), the Indian, Mahabharata-inspired Arjun: The Warrior Prince [review], and the Annecy-awarded Brazilan feature Uma História de Amor e Fúria.

 Bill Plympton participates with his new romance feature Cheatin'' , and the Franco-Belgian documentary Approved for Adoption (dir. Jung, Laurent Boileau) is also part of ReAnimania. The Spanish, Goya-nominated The Apostle (dir. Fernando Cortizo) and another Brazilian feature, Till Sbornia Do us Part (dir.Otto Guerra | Ennio Torresan Jr.) complete the list.

 The short selection includes Nicolai Troshinsky's inventive Astigmatismo, Hisko Hulsing's powerful Junkyard and the stop-motion Boles by Špela Čadež.

 ReAnimania festival establishes that award winners will be invited as Jury Members and special guests to Armenia for the next IAFFY edition.

 Enzo D' Alo's recent 2D Pinocchio and the César-awarded Ernest and Celestine (Stéphane AUBIER, Vincent PATAR, Benjamin RENNER) will be shown as special screenings. Georges Schwitzgebel ("The Process of Animating"),  Pritt Tender ("Garden of Eden", stop-motion animation), Rao Heidmets ("Theoretical Animation") and Tiziana Loschi ("Key Roles of Festivals") are some of the speakers who will conduct lectures and ReAnimania workshops.

 The internationally recognized Animation Workshop has been enlisted to offer specialized courses in animation during the festival, 26 Oct- 1 November.
