The creepy film The Renter won the grand prize at the 35th Cinanima Festival. See the full award list.

The Renter by Jason Carpenter (US) narrates the story of a young boy iat an elderly woman's home for the day, who learns caring can be shown in unexpected ways.

The special prize went to Muybride’s Strings by the Japanese animator Koji Yamamura (Oscar-nominated for Mt. Head), while the audience awarded the whimsically funny Danny Boy (Marek Skrobecki, Poland).
