Now you know it anyway: watch the film
At a sunny flea market, Robin tries to sell her own made-up stories. As she tells one of her stories with increasing confidence to a potential customer, all the main characters come alive and anxiously listen in.
Animation is meant to be moving. But the stillness of Now you know it anyway is only phenomenal: animal characters pop out and have their own distinctive, visual presence, just like interesting toys ready to hear what the narrator has to say.
The narrative itself meanders effortlessly sweet, almost to the point of being non-sensical.
Now you know it anyway competes in the official selection of the Annecy Film Festival, 4-9 June (France).
