Etiuda & Anima Festival 2025
Festival Description:
Among events accompanying the international contest of animated films and student etudes (films made at film and art schools made during the didactic process) there is: the annual award for the outstanding artist and pedagogue, Etiuda&Anima ”Top Tens” – unique sets of the best of the best animations chosen by experts, ”Animators’ Self-Portraits”, a cycle which provides the audience with unique opportunity to watch some of the best authors of various animation genres creating their film works live, or the premieres of the most interesting feature animated films from all over the world. For the past few years the festival has also included various film workshops in: script-writing, directing, cinematography, editing and animation conducted by well-known artists and pedagogues from the world’s leading film schools.
2025 Call for Entries

ETIUDA Competition - international film competition for student etudes made at film and fine art schools

ANIMA Competition - international competition for professional, independent and student animation. Films should not exceed 30 minutes in length and were made between years 2023 - 2025.

ANIMA 60+ Competition - international competition for full-length professional, independent and student animations with a duration of over 60 minutes. Films should be made between the years 2023-2025.
The following Prizes will be awarded at the ANIMA 2025 competition:
- Grand Prix – Golden Jabberwocky and a cash prize
- Grand Prix – Golden Dinosaur and a cash prize
- Silver Dinosaur and a cash prize
- Bronze Dinosaur and a cash prize
The Jury have also the right to award three Honorary Diplomas and a Special Mention for the best film school of ETIUDA competition 2025.
