StopTrik International Film Festival 2026
23/09/2026 00:00 - 27/09/2026 23:59
Festival Description:
StopTrik International Film Festival is a festival and community that celebrates the amazing film art of stop-motion animation. The festival appreciates the works made in traditional techniques of three-dimensional handmade animation, but also cares to discover experimental, mixed, and hybrid forms. Whether you are a professional, student, or an enthusiast, you are more than welcome to share your films with our Audience – the best and most valuable jury that decides on the festival's Grand Prix. The festival shows the Competition and Panorama programs in Slovenia and, whenever possible, we support the authors' participation in the Festival. The festival also caters to recent and historical stop motion films, several discussions about art, craft, life, politics, and whatever you wish to talk about, workshops of stop motion filmmaking, morning urban walks, afternoon vegan lunches, and late-night events.
Zippy Frames coverage of the StopTrik International Film Festival includes selection announcements, award winners, film reviews, interviews, and festival reports.
