Brothers Quay direct Maska

Stephen and Timothy Quay, the stop-motion animators that confront dark subjects with minute precision, meet the science-fiction author (and screenwriter of Solaris), Stanislaw Lem.
Lem's Maska is set in a technologically developed but also feudal world. Beautiful Duenna was created in order to carry out certain mission. However, she will be forced to choose between accomplishing the task she was created for and love.
Maska has been selected for the official competitve section of the 51st Annecy Film Festival of animated films (6-11 June). Watch the trailer below
