Encounters, Bristol: Producing Course, 17-21 September
The Creative Business of Producing Animation is a course that will explore traditional methods and practises whilst covering the most up to date issues related to animation production today, including multi-platform, digital and 3D technologies.
It will focus on the vital relationship between creative and producer roles in animation. Supported by the Skillset Film Skills Fund and presented in partnership with Aardman Animations and the University of the West of England (UWE),
The five-day residential course includes two intensive days of seminars and discussions followed by a further three days of workshops, screenings and networking events.
The course will be led by some of the most successful and acclaimed producers in the UK, and participants will have the chance to engage with key animation industry professionals attending the festival. All participants will receive a full delegate pass for the Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival and a schedule of activities focused on the Animated Encounters strand of the festival.
An exclusive tour of the Aardman Studios is also included. The Bristol animation producing course is supported by the Skillset Film Skills Fund and presented in partnership with Aardman Animations and the University of the West of England (UWE)
The course is designed for a maximum of 12 participants, a mix of aspiring and established animation producers.

Course fee: £500, including 5 nights accommodation and meals
