Imke Fehrmann joins management at German animation producer Akkord Film

With over 25 years of international experience in various positions in animation and VFX production and management, including Associate Producer for animated feature films at Animal Logic (Australia) and Lucasfilm (Singapore), Consultant at Aardman and Executive VFX Producer at Framestore and Rodeo FX (Canada), Imke was most recently CEO of Hahn Film AG.

She is also actively involved with the international organization Women in Animation as mentor and was co-initiator of its German equivalent. Most recently, she produced an animated short film about child marriage with Pakistan's Oscar®-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Together with Akkord Film’s founder and managing director, Dirk Beinhold, Imke Fehrmann will strategically steer the company and will be responsible for all productions as Executive Producer.
