Family films are not the exclusive territory of US studios. Watch the teaser for the new Dutch film, Trippel Trappel.

Three young pets decide to ask Sinterklaas (Santa Claus) if they too can have presents. The small ferret Fretje, along with his friends Kari (a canary) and Takkie set out for an adventurous trip to Santa Claus.

Paco Vink and Albert 't Hooft (Anikey Studios) co-direct the 65-minute family feature film, which is co-produced by Il Luster Studios and Il Vivi films, also from Netherlands.

Trippel Trappel will have its premiere on 28th September at the Netherlands Film Festival. A Dutch theatrical release is planned for 8th October 2014.
